Single Point Lubricators & Accessories
Single-point automatic lubricators deliver a measured dose of grease or oil to an individual bearing, chain, or lube point over an extended period — removing the need for manual re-greasing. Available in spring-loaded, battery-powered, and gas-driven formats. Used wherever access is difficult, intervals are critical, or over-greasing is a concern.

Industry & Application Guide
⚙Manufacturing & Assembly
Conveyor chain lubrication, bearing maintenance on production lines, CNC machine spindle and ballscrew re-greasing. Progressive and single-line systems most common.
🏗Construction & Mining
Heavy equipment pin-and-bore lubrication, track and undercarriage grease points, bucket and boom pins. High-flow button-head fittings and high-ratio pumps.
🌟Steel & Metal Processing
Roll neck and bearing lubrication on rolling mills, slitting lines, and presses. High-load EP grease applications requiring dual-line systems and high-pressure fittings.
✈Transportation & Fleet
Truck chassis grease routes, fifth-wheel lubrication, kingpin maintenance, driveline universal joints. Lever-action and cordless grease guns with standard Zerk fittings.
🌿Food & Beverage
Conveyor and mixer bearing lubrication using automatic single-point lubricators to reduce manual handling contact and maintain hygienic application practices.
🔢Energy & Power Generation
Turbine and generator bearing maintenance, wind turbine pitch system and main bearing lubrication, pump and motor bearing re-greasing on scheduled intervals.
🔌Pneumatic Tool Maintenance
Air line FRL lubricators protecting downstream pneumatic tools, cylinders, and valves in compressed air networks. Watts FluidAir QUBE lubricators fillable under pressure.
🌾Agriculture
Tractor and harvester pivot-point greasing, PTO shafts, header drives, and auger bearings. Lever-action and battery-powered grease guns for field service.
🛒Warehousing & Logistics
Forklift mast and chain lubrication, pallet conveyor system maintenance, dock leveler pivot grease points. Conveyor lubrication systems extend chain service life.
Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a progressive divider system and a single-line injector system?
In a
progressive (divider valve) system, lubricant is distributed to each outlet in a fixed sequence — every point receives a dose before the cycle repeats. This makes it easy to verify system operation at a glance. In a
single-line injector system, individual adjustable injectors at each lube point cycle independently. Volume per point is adjustable without disassembling the line, which suits applications where lube requirements vary significantly between points.
What thread standard do most grease fittings use?
In North America, the most common standard is
1/4″-28 UNF, used on the majority of automotive and industrial equipment made or sold in the US.
1/8″-27 NPT is also widely used. European and imported equipment typically uses
M6, M8, or M10 metric threads or
1/8″ BSPT. Our range covers all of these in straight, 45°, 90°, flush-type, button-head, and giant button-head styles.
What is the difference between a spring-loaded and a battery-powered single-point lubricator?
A
spring-loaded lubricator uses a compressed spring to maintain constant positive pressure on the lubricant, delivering it continuously and slowly over the cartridge life. No power source is required and there is no programming capability. A
battery-powered lubricator uses a motor drive or gas-generation cell to push lubricant at a programmable rate. Dispensing interval and volume can be set, making battery units appropriate where controlled, timed lubrication cycles are required.
When would I use a button-head fitting instead of a standard Zerk?
Button-head fittings are used when a standard hydraulic Zerk coupler cannot get sufficient mechanical engagement — typically where the fitting is recessed, surrounded by a guard, or the entry angle prevents a standard coupler from locking on. They require a matching button-head coupler on the gun end. Giant button-head fittings serve the same purpose on heavy equipment with larger-bore grease passages and higher-flow requirements.
Does MRO Stop carry replacement parts for lubrication pumps?
Does MRO Stop support B2B purchasing accounts for maintenance departments?
Yes. MRO Stop runs on OroCommerce, which supports company accounts with multiple users, purchasing approval workflows, saved shopping lists for recurring lubrication supply orders, cost-centre tracking, and order history export.
